He completed his undergraduate education (2011) at Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration. During her undergraduate education, he studied political science and sociology as an exchange student in Paris X Nanterre (2009-2010). He did his first MSc in Political Science and International Relations at Yıldız Technical University (2014), and his second MSc in Sociology at Mersin University (2019). He holds his PhD (2020) program at Mersin University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration.
He studies as a PhD Candidate at Mersin University, Department of Applied Sociology (2020).
Since 2015, he has been experiencing theory and practice together in defining, bringing up, and implementing urban public policies through his work in the Mersin Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen. His research interests and publications are in the areas of urban public policy analysis, the urban economics, and smart cities. In addition, he focuses on migration policy and practices, transformation of rural areas, and social change. He is the founder and coordinator of the Urban Analytics Lab. He leads Data Management Research in Urban Economic Structure Analysis and Business Establishment Support Program (BESP) projects in the Urban Analysis Lab (urbanalab).
Furthermore, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Department of Local Administrations, Urban and Environmental Policies at University of Tarsus
