VEYSEL ALCAN (ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING)
Dr. Veysel Alcan received his Ph.D. in Electronics and Computer Science from Gazi University. Following his doctoral studies, Assoc. Dr. Alcan undertook post-doctoral research at the prestigious Biomedical Signals and Systems (BSS) Group within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (EEMCS) at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. Currently, Dr. Alcan serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Tarsus University, Turkiye. Dr. Alcan's primary research interests span a broad spectrum of topics, including biomedical signal processing, electromyography (EMG), neurophysiology, biomechanics, and clinical decision support systems. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in leading journals and conferences by contributing to both fundamental and applied research. Beyond academia, Dr. Alcan actively collaborates with industry partners and research institutions, fostering multidisciplinary approaches to solve real-world challenges in biomedical engineering and healthcare systems.
FATMA KÜBRA ÇEKOK (DR, PHYSIOTHERAPIST)
Dr. Fatma Kübra Çekok received her PhD in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from Dokuz Eylül University. Dr. Çekok is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, Tarsus University in Turkey. Dr. Çekok’s main research interests are in the areas of neurological rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, technology-assisted exercises, stroke, and cognitive and physical (dual-task) development in rehabilitation. Beyond her academic publications, abstracts, and book chapters, Dr. Çekok actively collaborates with different research institutions to promote interdisciplinary approaches to solve real-world challenges in healthcare systems.
AYŞENUR GÖKŞEN (DR, PHYSIOTHERAPIST)
Dr. Ayşenur Gökşen received her PhD in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from Hacettepe University. Dr. Gökşen is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, Tarsus University in Turkey. He is currently working as a faculty member. Dr. Gökşen’s main research interests cover a wide range of topics including Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Exercise, Biomechanics and Sports Performance. Beyond his academic publications, abstracts and book chapters, Dr. Gökşen actively collaborates with different research institutions to promote interdisciplinary approaches to solve real-world challenges in healthcare systems.
